Lakeway and Lake Pointe Elementary and Lake Travis Middle Schools, which serve the Bee Cave area, all have perfect 10 out of 10 scores. Bee Cave Elementary receives a nine. There are several private schools in the area as wells, including Primrose School, Abercorn International School, and St. Michael’s Catholic Academy.

Austin Community College has several campuses near Bee Cave, the closest of which is ACC Pinnacle. Austin-area colleges and universities include the University of Texas at Austin, Concordia University, and Saint Edwards University. 

Bee Cave Parks & Recreation

Bee Cave is home to Falconhead Golf Club, a full-service club with a public, 18-hole course. Facilities include a golf shop, practice range, and Talon’s Bar and Grill. The City of Bee Cave maintains four public parks, including a new dog park with separate areas for large and small breeds. Bee Cave Central Park encompasses 50 acres and features hiking and biking trails, playgrounds, and picnic pavilions. Outdoor enthusiasts also flock to nearby Lake Travis along the Colorado River, which offers opportunities for fishing, boating, scuba diving, and zip lining. Lake Travis also features picnic and camping facilities.
