Austin School Information

Since Austin is a major metropolitan area, several independent school districts (ISD) are located in various city sections. The Eanes ISD has six elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school. Lake Travis ISD serves the greater Austin area, including Bee Cave, Lakeway, Spicewood, and Dripping Springs. The Round Rock ISD consists of 34 elementary, 11 middle, and six high schools.

Leander ISD serves Leander, Georgetown, Volente, Cedar Park, Round Rock, and Austin neighborhoods and comprises 48 schools, including 28 elementary schools and six high schools. Dripping Springs ISD is a smaller district that serves students in the Dripping Springs and Driftwood areas and consists of six schools: three elementary, two middle, and one high. The Wimberley ISD serves the Driftwood and Wimberley areas and consists of one elementary, one middle, and one high school.

Austin ISD is an extensive district that serves over 80,000 students across 130 schools. Liberty Hill ISD is composed of four elementary, one middle, and one high school and serves the Georgetown, Liberty Hill, and Leander areas. The Lago Vista ISD serves the Lago Vista, Jonestown, and Point Venture neighborhoods and has four school campuses.
